This is a great article I found on the Piledriver. Interestingly, Joanie feels that the release of her first video with Sean Waltman, One Night in Chyna, was an invasion of her privacy in all ways that it could be and the new movie is a sort of redemption on her own terms. Now to a normal person this is "confusing and sad" but after following Joanie for much of her career it actually makes sense for her, especially since she is certifiably crazy. If you don't believe me, watch the first season of celebrity rehab. Keep in mind this is not a judgement call on my part, just an explanation for her thought process.
With regards to TNA, she only did that as a one shot and has no real desire to commit herself to a wrestling relaunch.
It seems like the situation should be reversed, where the porn is the one shot and TNA is the career goal. What a wonderful world we live in.
